Dr Jart+ Water Max Sleeping Mask review

I must admit, I'd never bought anything from Dr Jart before so I popped this sleeping mask on my Christmas list after a quick browse online. I didn't intend to get a 'sleeping' mask but when I saw this, the idea drew me in because whilst your sleeping it doesn't matter if your skin looks lathered up in product whereas it's a little harder to pull that off in the daytime. Having said that though its the texture of a normal moisturising gel but the look of a much more intense one which you would expect from a mask. I don't know about you but I find there's something very appealing about overnight treatments, waking up in the morning and looking for the results (I use an overnight hair mask every now and then and love it). The first time I used this I couldn't believe how amazing it smelt more than anything, a subtle but feminine fragrance and one that will have you dozing off in no time. The idea is that it forms a protective layer over the skin whilst the body is restoring overnight, the moisture smooths the skin and the results are visible in the morning. They recommend applying 10 minutes before you go to bed to allow time to absorb and remember to cleanse your skin in the morning. I'm so happy with my first Dr Jart product and I am excited to try more from the brand.
